Cabin Stay at Krislund

PSU VS MICH Nov 10-12th

We would like to share an awesome opportunity with you! We are opening up our Cabins for you to utilize when you come watch the Michigan VS Penn State football game on November 11th! Stay Friday night and Saturday night in one of our Red Pine Cabins that have two full beds, private bathroom, and WIFI access. Each cabin also has A/C and Heat. On top of that we will also serve you a hot breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday morning in our dining hall!

Time of Fellowship

August's board meeting was held in person at Krislund and not only was it good to be in person but we also were able to enjoy a fantastic lunch with the Thursday Volunteers! They generously give their time every week to providing service at Krislund and it was wonderful to see the board and volunteers gather together for a meal and fellowship. 

Summer Recap

Another summer at Krislund is complete and oh what a summer it was! 

From the beginning we knew it was going to be a great summer. An amazing staff arrived at camp and came together and developed into a team that not only bonded but could be relied on through out the summer. This amazing team led our campers through fun activities, worship and bible studies all summer with a smile on their face and energy that lasted through to the end. 

Our campers got to do so many things! From swimming in the pool, climbing the rock wall, exploring nature, flying down the zipline, taking aim at the archery range, hiking up to the Bald Spot, kayaking and canoeing at a local lake to swinging on the Giant Swing, there was not a day that was not full of adventure and fun. 

Most importantly every camper that came to Krislund experienced something special. They were able to Encounter God in many ways, Build Relationships with other campers and their counselors and Experience Creation that surrounded them all week here at Krislund (Christ's Valley).

Our last two fundraisers were a great success!

First, back in May, we participated in the Centre Gives 36 hours of giving and raised over $11,000! Thank you to the 53 donors that help us reach that amount!

Secondly, our Chip in for Krislund golf tournament happened on June 16th and was a blast! We started out with some not great weather but, by the end of the day the sun was out and shining as we finished up 18 at Nittany Country Club. Overall it was a great tournament and we are thankful to all of those that were able to attend. We were able to raise $7,100 for Krislund Camper scholarships!
